Today I stepped away from the usual muscle pounding, severe sweating and heart pumping challenges of everyday hockey training to be treated like a model for the day! Investec, an international specialist bank, have been a principal partner of the England and Great Britain Women’s Hockey Team whose sponsorship covers all of the major events and development programmes related to Hockey in the UK. A number of the squad made the trip to London to pose and pout for “glamorous” photos, wearing various designer clothes. Fortunately for us, Jemma Kidd (in association with Conviviality) did a sterling job with our makeup and there were some fantastic photo’s that came out from the day. It was great to be with all the girls off the hockey field, and great to be pampered and glammed up for the day – we had such a giggle.Do keep your eyes out for pictures of us in magazines, website, newspapers…etc – if you do spot any, please feel free to comment on this post!
